Thanksgiving Los Vegas style

Happy Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving down in Los Vegas with the Franklin family. We went swimming, saw a show on the strip, and enjoyed the many sights that Los Vegas has to offer. No wait, I mean we enjoyed the family friendly good sights... like watching the lions at MGM, or laughing so hard seeing my kids squeal with joy on the amusement rides at Circus Circus. With 4 strollers in our group, we were not bugged or approached by anything un-family friendly. And about the amusement rides... I don't know who had more fun. Them, or us watching them. As soon the ride was over, my 2 year old would take off running to go do it again.

Thank you to the Franklins for planning such a fun trip! Thanks for the Ann Marie & Travis (Rob's cousins) who let everyone enjoy Thanksgiving at their house. My kids still ask constantly if we can go to their house... like it's around the block instead of 6 hours away.

The day before I was going to leave for Los Vegas, Kyle woke up from his nap with a 104 fever and swollen glands. I ran both kids over to the Kidscare and sure enough, Kyle had strep. Of course. This kid always gets sick when we are going to visit the Franklins. Luckily, it was something we could start antibiotics, and by Mon., he was no longer contagious. When Bekah awoke with a fever a couple nights later, I already had a prescription and started her immediately. Also, the kids were absolutely fabulous on the drive! I drove down alone with the kids and Rob joined us a few days later, but the drive was a breeze. Count my blessings. Anyway, we have much to be grateful for!
